Katherine Graci
Student of the Year 2024 (Ex Aequo) Full Music Program Student (Piano + Music Theory) Accepted to New York University (NYU) London Achieved Distinction in All ABRSM Piano & Music Theory Examinations
Katherine Graci is an outstanding example of musical excellence, academic achievement, and leadership. An accomplished pianist and violist, she has distinguished herself through exceptional musicianship, artistic maturity, and a strong commitment to excellence.
Throughout her years at New York Music Center, Katherine earned Distinction in every ABRSM Piano and Music Theory examination through Grade 8. She also won First Prize at the Crescendo International Competition, performing at Carnegie Hall, and served as Principal Violist of the Children’s Orchestra Society.
Beyond her musical accomplishments, Katherine was a Young Investors Society Global Stock Pitch Semifinalist and a Morgan Stanley JumpStart Scholar.

I’ve been really lucky to study with Ms. Manzano for over 8 years. During that time, I’ve achieved some important milestones: First Prize at the Little Mozart International Competition, performed at Carnegie Hall and achieved top scores in the NYSSMA and ABRSM piano exams.
I have been a member of the National Junior Honor Society and was awarded the “Student of the Year” at the New York Music Center. I also had the opportunity to participate as a trumpeter in the Suffolk County Music Festival Orchestra.

I have also had a number of wonderful public performance opportunities with the school in fantastic venues, as well as participating in masterclasses with other teachers and students. Steinway Hall
New York Music Center offers the unique opportunity to hold recitals at the Steinway Hall in the heart of New York City, in Midtown – Manhattan.
This is a great opportunity for NYMC Students to perform on a Steinway concert grand (model D) in a legendary performance venue with marvelous acoustics. The participants are awarded a certificate from Steinway & Sons.

New York Music Center hosts recitals at prestigious venues throughout the city, including the renowned Carnegie Hall.
Barcelona Piano Academy
